Do you need to book, or can you just walk in?

You do not need to book. Ilyan's is walk in, every single day we are open. No app, no deposit, no waiting on a text back. Turn up, take a seat, and you are in the chair when it is your turn.

When we are open

Sunday, 9am to 4pm. Monday to Thursday, 9am to 6pm. Friday and Saturday, 8:30am to 6pm. We are one of the few barbers on the Wirral open seven days, so whenever you get the urge for a fresh cut, the door is open.

Quiet times and busy times

If you want to be in and out, the quietest slots are early on weekday mornings and Sunday afternoons. The busiest are Friday afternoons and all day Saturday, when everyone wants to look sharp for the weekend. It moves quickly with more than one barber on, but if you are short on time, come early.

How the queue works

First come, first served. On a busy Saturday you might wait a little at peak, but you will see the chairs turning over. Bringing the kids? They are welcome any time, and we are good with the little ones who are not sure about the clippers yet.
