Behind the chair
The sign reads Ilyan's. The lads know him as Honar. Either way, the same hands have been cutting hair for sixteen years.
He started in his brother's shop in Liverpool, learning the trade the long way round. Eight years ago he crossed the water, opened his own door on Hoylake Road, and put his name above it.

Yes, all ages. Kids under 10 are £12 for a haircut or £13 for a skin fade. We're patient with first-cut nerves. Bring a favourite toy if it helps.
A standard haircut takes 25 to 30 minutes. A skin fade is 30 to 40 minutes. A hot towel shave is around 20 minutes. We don't rush. The cut is finished when it's right.
Free on-street parking on Hoylake Road right outside the shop. There's also free public parking just around the corner if the road is busy.
